The boat is in fantastic condition. The inboard configuration is in my opinion the only way to go for a boat like this. Whether you keep it on the trailer or keep it in a slip maintenance costs will be kept to a minimum compared to outboard or I/Os.
All electronics are either new or recently gone through at the Raytheon factory.
The Outerbanks model allows the best of both worlds; when traveling you can be snug in the cabin talking to your friends or watching a movie. Wind, rain, big swells? No problem you are in the cabin warm and dry. When you are fishing and you need to find the kelps or breaking fish you can drive from up top. There is enough room for two people to sit side by side. With the brand new plotter/fishfinder you can follow high spots or navigate to your destination. With the tremendous bait capacity of the Longfin you will run out of room for fish long before you run out of bait.
I have strived to keep this boat in the best possible condition. The engine and trans have been serviced every 100 hours. I recently removed the original crank case breather system as this was a problem with these engines and replaced it with a Racor 4500 ccv system. This took care of the problem you may encounter if you research this very reliable engine. The starting batteries are new and the house batteries are about a year old. I also pulled new cables to replace the existing main leads to the house panel. I replaced the rudder bearing about one year ago as well as repacking the driveshaft. There is not a thing wrong with this boat. It is ready to fish or cruise. I don’t have to sell the boat but if I do I will be buying a small (19’) aluminum boat.
