These are pictures of the first few days of construction. A Blackman Billfisher is built on 4 major molds. The mold you see in this sequence is the hull mold, soon to begin accepting the fiberglass and resin. The molds are cleaned and polished before anything can be started. The hull mold actually sits on a roller assembly which allows it to be canted from side to side for application of the glass matting .
